  1. 1.STEPHEN BOOT T/A SITELLO ("Sitello" or “we”) respect the privacy of your personal information. This policy (together with any ancillary documents referred to in it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed.

  2. 2.Uses Made of Your Personal Information 

    1. a.Any personal information that you provide to Sitello will be used solely for the purpose of provisioning or providing you with the information or services you have requested.  

    2. b.If Sitello is contracted to providing you with a service or services at your request, you will receive relevant, informational messages as part of the service(s). We will only use the contact information you have provided to us for this purpose. The content of these messages will be strictly in the context of your service.
      Examples of these could be service status, billing, or maintenance messages.  

    3. c.Sitello may disclose your personal information to: 

      1. i.third party service providers or agents acting on behalf of Sitello strictly for the provision of your requested service(s); and  

      2. ii.if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use.  

    4. d.Due to the global nature of the internet, when using Sitello services, the personal information you provide may be transferred to different countries (either inside or outside the EU) depending on which services you have requested.       An example of this would be the purchase of a .com domain name, which requires your personal information to be entered when registering, to verify proof of ownership.  

  3. 3.Where does Sitello store personal data?  

    1. a.The personal data that we collect from you will be stored on servers inside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). 

    2. b.By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy. 

    3. c.It is your responsibility to maintain the secrecy of any login credentials, passwords, authentication tokens and/or encryption keys (“security details”) provided to you by Sitello or generated by Sitello services. Always use a trusted secure connection when transmitting personal data across the Internet. By disclosing your security details, you risk losing control of your personal information.  

    4. d.Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.   4. 4.How long do we keep your personal data? Personal information you provide is retained for the duration of the service for which the data was collected. It will then be destroyed unless its retention is required to satisfy legal, regulatory or accounting requirements.

If you use these hyperlinks, then you will be leaving the website and your access and use of those websites will not be governed by this Privacy Policy. It is your responsibility to check the other websites and any privacy policies that may govern those websites to find out how your data will be treated by the operators of those websites. 

  6. 6.Cookies: Sitello may collect information about the device you’re using, including (where available) your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration. This is statistical data about Sitello users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.
    For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general Internet usage by using cookies
    , which are stored on your device at the request of your web browser. The cookies used by Sitello contain identification codes, which match records on our servers. Cookies help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalised service. They enable us:

    2. b.Being contacted by Sitello will not breach any of your rights under the U.K. Telecommunications (Data Protection & Privacy) Regulations 1999 or General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
